Week 2 – Web Sites & Social Networking Sites
Participants will be able to:
• Explain the difference between the WWW and the Internet
• List popular web browsers and search engines
• Use tabbed browsing, keyboard shortcuts, favorites, and bookmarks within a web browser
• List and navigate social networking sites
• Discuss the role of social networking in libraries
• Practice using Google for calculations and conversions
