Kick-off in Ocean City!

Welcome to Ocean City and to the Kick-off Session for Computer Quick Tips & Tricks!
About Computer Quick Tips and Tricks:
This blended learning program is designed to help library staff become more comfortable with commonly used computer software and Web technologies so they feel more confident in their own work and interactions with customers. After assessing their technology skill set in the kick-off session, learners will participate in real-time online classes (which are also archived and accessible
at the learners’ convenience) and complete practice exercises to gain a better understanding of:
Web E-mail, Attachments, and Printing;
Microsoft Outlook;
Web Sites and Social Networking Sites;
Burning a CD;
Saving Documents and File Management;
Digital Cameras and Digital Photos;
Keyboard Shortcuts.
Don’t think you’ll have time to take the class? It has been designed with
busy, multitasking library staff in mind! Participants can work on the learning exercises at their own pace and the online sessions will be archived. So if you can’t make it to a class, you can watch it later at your convenience.

At the conclusion of the Ocean City Kick-off Session program, participants will be able to:
-Assess personal technology skill set and identify areas for improvement
-State class schedule and objectives
-Locate and navigate class blog
